Tournament Results
Champ Flight - Leading off the event we had all four players in the mix with four strokes separating them at the turn. Having a solid back nine would be the determining factor for the victory. Mark Nash would take the championship with a +1 (73).
A Flight - Being the next flight to follow and having some familiar faces, everyone had a chance to take it all. At the turn, we had one player take a commanding lead and never looking back. Dan Duran would take the championship with a +1 (73) making it his first victory on the Senior Tour and a promotion to Champ Flight.
B Flight - Just like every event we have, this flight always has a battle to the end. At the turn, we had two players in the mix with only one strokes separating them. Having a solid back nine would also be the determining factor for the victory. Craig Estrada would take the championship with a +5 (77) making it his first victory on tour and a promotion to A Flight. Gaudencio Pavia would take second with a +10 (82).
C Flight - Being the biggest flight in the tournament, any of the players could come out with the victory. At the turn, we had six players in the mix with four strokes separating them. Three players would have a solid back nine to force our First Ever Playoff on the Senior Tour. Once the playoff was over, Greg Bennett would take the championship with a +16 (88) making it his first victory on the Senior Tour. Michael Wood would take second with a +16 (88).
D Flight - Finishing up with our final flight, we always see a tight race throughout the entire tournament. At the turn, we had three players in the mix with two strokes separating them. But having a better back nine then front nine would be the determining factor for the victory. Rick Robinson would take the championship with a +21 (93). John Vasquez would take second with a scorecard playoff and a +23 (95).
