2020 Northstone CC
With the COVID19 pandemic facing the world, I am thankful that we still have courses that are allowing us to compete while we maintain social distancing guidelines. Northstone CC hosted us on the unusual chilly/cold day in April. It was a tough day for all with a few pin placements that made it extremely difficult to score.
In the Championship Flight, It was new Member for 2020 on the Senior Tour that made a fine debut and being one of 2 players to shoot under 80 on this day. Jim Aughtry making his Senior Debut shoots +3, 75 to claim the victory. Northstone member, Whit Fairer claims second with a score of +7, 79. Jeff Brischke takes 3rd with a score of +8, 80. New Members, Jeff Rausch claims 4th with a score of +9, 81 and rounding out the top 5 was George Harris with a score of +10, 82.

In the A Flight, 18 holes was not enough for us to crown a winner, Northstone Member, Mike Barnhardt and Masanori Kokubu both tied at +10, 82. They returned to the first hole to begin the playoff. It only took 1 hole as Masa rolled in a par putt to win. Third place goes to Tom Seifert shooting +11, 83. Johnny Moffett claims fourth shooting +14, 86 and winning a scorecard playoff over Randall Gaston and Kim Seifert. Johnny's back nine of 41 was 1 shot better that Randall's 42 and Kim's 47. Gaston takes home 5th.

In the B Flight, just like the A Flight had to go to extra holes to break the tie for the win. Cliff Morgan and Russell McDonald tied at +15, 87 and returned to the 1st hole to start the playoff. Just like the A Flight, it only took one hole, but this time it was Cliff Morgan who rolled in a Birdie Putt to claim victory. Ron Lamorte takes home third place with a score of +16, 88. Rick Fliss takes fourth with a score of +18, 90 beating Steve Williams (Fifth) and David Cline by the scorecard playoff with a better back nine.

In the C Flight, It was Mike James who wins by 1 with a score of +20, 92. Bill Sturgeon takes second with a score of +21, 93. Kevin Lepage continues to cash in as he finishes 3rd with a score of +22, 94. Andre Banks takes fourth with a score of +23, 95. and Jimmy Sullivan takes fifth winning a scorecard playoff with a score of +25, 97.
