Practice round rates:

	Bruce Gantt carded three birdies to start the tournament and set the club house pace at -1 Par on Day 1. Bruce matched his birdie count on Day 2 to cruise to the CHAMP Flight win with a second day EVEN Par, 72. Bruce has a commanding lead on the CHAMP Flight points race heading into the second half of the season.
Danny Sweetman found himself in the middle of a pack of 9 golfers all breaking 80 on Day 1 and within 3 shots of the lead in the A Flight field. On Day 2, the herd thinned out over the day and Danny was able to card a very nice +1, 73 to take the Open Trophy and the points with it. Danny collected 5 birdies over the weekend and takes a solid points lead into the second half of the season.
	Eric Walker started Day 2 six shots off the pace set by B Flight points leader Russell McDonald. Russell carded a very nice 77 to start the tournament and had his eyes one the trophy. Eric woke up that morning and felt like his 20 year old self, playing lights out - 5 birdies - and broke par for the first time "since my 20's!" Eric set the low round of the tournament across all Flights with his -2, 70 and finished with a 2 day total of 153!
Marty James carded a birdie on his way to breaking 80 on day 1 to set a huge overnight lead in the C Flight. He closed out the field on Day 2 with an easy 87 to take his 3rd! Two Day Championship of the Season. Marty keeps pace in the C Flight season long race and has a chance at the title coming down the stretch.
	Allen Iverson set a scorching pace on day 1 in the D Flight with a single-birdie 81. This set the pace well beyond the pack for Day 2 and Allen coasted to his first win of the season with another strong 85.

2026 Charlotte Events

• Enhanced Tournament payouts ALL FLIGHTS:  60-80 players $300 Guarantee 1st place prize money 80-100 players,  $400 guaranteed 1st place, and 101+ players $500 guaranteed 1st place! (Double payout for 36 hole tournaments)

• Enhanced Flight skins ($20 buy-in for each tournament)

• Each Flight will have a 2026 champion and payouts to 4th place. (1st place: Trophy, paid 2027 membership and $300 credit towards any 2027 Charlotte tournaments), (2nd place: $300 credit towards any 2027 Charlotte tournaments), (3rd place: $200 credit towards any 2027 Charlotte tournaments), (4th place: $100 credit towards any 2027 Charlotte tournaments).

• Any flight gift cards not picked up at the course will be credited to your account and you can use for any future Charlotte Tournament.

• We will still have many ways to pay on the website... Cashapp, Venmo, along with PayPal (a small fee will apply to PayPal)

• CTP will now be "polies". Polies are if you hit within a flagstick on any par 3 (appx 7'), you will split the prize money. (Example: A total of 5 people hit within the flagstick on any the par 3's, $500 in the pot, each player wins $100)

• Skins and Polies will be paid at the course or by Venmo within 48 hours.  If you do not have the app set up, I can send you a link to install the app.

• In order to speed up play, groups will be warned and penalized if they fall further than 1 hole behind. To help speed up play, please play ready golf and limit your ball searches to 3 minutes (Per USGA Rules)   

• Your Tour Membership package will be emailed to you before your first local tournament you play in you will be able to choose from items in the online store ($50 credit). 

• We utilize Live Scoring in all events. Not only can you track your progress against the field during the event, but so can your family and friends, no matter where they are.

• Playing in Other Tour Events: The ability to play on any AGT tour event across the country is a great benefit.  If you play an outside event, points will automatically be added to your total for up to 4 events. Please refer to pages 17-18 of the Tour Manual for complete details on playing outside events. A single day event can only be replaced with another single day event and a 2 day major can only replaced with a local 2 day major (Regional events are not acceptable as replacements for local 2 day events). Additionally, points will be rewarded for up to 3 Regional events.
