	Jay Barnes collected 4 birdies to start his tournament Day 1 and took the club house lead over the field by 3. Jay shot a 1 under, 71 and looked posed to become a factor in the points race with fellow contender, Bruce Gantt. Chuck Floyd fired 4 birdies and carded an Even Par, 72 on Day 2 to force a playoff with Jay, who prevailed in the end and climbs to 2nd in the 2026 Champ Flight Points Race.
Kevin O'Donoghue fired an opening round scorcher 74 only to find himself tied with fellow player Steve Roberts. The two combined for 7 birdies on the day. Kevin was able to keep the momentum going on Day 2 with 3 birdies and carded a winning 76, 150 to take home the double points and become a factor in the season points race.
	Malcolm Niven surveyed the leaderboard finishing his first round 2 shots back from the club house led. Six players started Day 2 within 2 of the leaders and Niven put together a fantastic round featuring 1 birdie and carded a 78 to edge out club house leader Steven Williamson. Niven vaults his way to a commanding season points lead.
Charles Mines set the stage early on Day 1 carding an 83 to take a one shot lead overnight. Charles was able to lead wire-to-wire and cleared the field by 4 shots with a follow up 84. Charles vaulted himself up the season points board to 3rd.
	Marty James carded 2 birdies to put himself one shot out of the overnight lead after Day 1. Marty was able to follow up his first day with a matching 87 and a 4 stroke differential from the field on Day 2. Marty climbs to 2nd on the points race for the season.

2026 Charlotte Events

• Enhanced Tournament payouts ALL FLIGHTS:  60-80 players $300 Guarantee 1st place prize money 80-100 players,  $400 guaranteed 1st place, and 101+ players $500 guaranteed 1st place! (Double payout for 36 hole tournaments)

• Enhanced Flight skins ($20 buy-in for each tournament)

• Each Flight will have a 2026 champion and payouts to 4th place. (1st place: Trophy, paid 2027 membership and $300 credit towards any 2027 Charlotte tournaments), (2nd place: $300 credit towards any 2027 Charlotte tournaments), (3rd place: $200 credit towards any 2027 Charlotte tournaments), (4th place: $100 credit towards any 2027 Charlotte tournaments).

• Any flight gift cards not picked up at the course will be credited to your account and you can use for any future Charlotte Tournament.

• We will still have many ways to pay on the website... Cashapp, Venmo, along with PayPal (a small fee will apply to PayPal)

• CTP will now be "polies". Polies are if you hit within a flagstick on any par 3 (appx 7'), you will split the prize money. (Example: A total of 5 people hit within the flagstick on any the par 3's, $500 in the pot, each player wins $100)

• Skins and Polies will be paid at the course or by Venmo within 48 hours.  If you do not have the app set up, I can send you a link to install the app.

• In order to speed up play, groups will be warned and penalized if they fall further than 1 hole behind. To help speed up play, please play ready golf and limit your ball searches to 3 minutes (Per USGA Rules)   

• Your Tour Membership package will be emailed to you before your first local tournament you play in you will be able to choose from items in the online store ($50 credit). 

• We utilize Live Scoring in all events. Not only can you track your progress against the field during the event, but so can your family and friends, no matter where they are.

• Playing in Other Tour Events: The ability to play on any AGT tour event across the country is a great benefit.  If you play an outside event, points will automatically be added to your total for up to 4 events. Please refer to pages 17-18 of the Tour Manual for complete details on playing outside events. A single day event can only be replaced with another single day event and a 2 day major can only replaced with a local 2 day major (Regional events are not acceptable as replacements for local 2 day events). Additionally, points will be rewarded for up to 3 Regional events.
