What is the California Tour?

The GOLFWEEK Amateur Tour of California is the Premier Amateur Golf Tour dedicated to California Golfers of all skill levels.
No qualifying required. For men and women, young and old. We use some of the best championship golf courses in California to host our tournaments making your experience the best possible tournament atmosphere that we can produce.
So, how do I join and what do I do next?...
- Select the 'Join the Tour' button on the left of this page to submit your player registration and membership payment.
- Once we receive your registration and payment, we will send you an e-mail with additional information and confirmation of your eligibility.

How Our Tournaments Work:
When you sign up for the tour, we will place you in a flight based on your current USGA Index or by making a determination based on your average scores. During the tournaments, you will compete against other players from your flight in a true stroke play event. You will compete for Gifts Cards and also an etched crystal trophy for the 1st place winner in each flight. Prize Pay-Outs are based on the number of players in your flight.
We have optional cash games at each event. These include Skins and Super Skins Games and each tournament has Closest to the Pin Contest on the Par 3s.
Based on where you placed in the tournament, you will be awarded points. All participating players receive points no matter what place you finished in for the event. The Season Long Points Winner for each flight will be awarded a special trophy. The top 10 in each flight have the opportunity to compete in the National Finals at Hilton Head Island.

- Championship Flight: 0 to 3.9 Handicap
- A Flight: 4.0 to 8.9 Handicap
- B Flight: 9.0 to 13.9 Handicap
- C Flight: 14.0 to 18.9 Handicap
- D Flight: 19.0 and Higher Handicap

Golfweek Senior Amateur Tour National Championship at Hilton Head
Wednesday and Thursday, October 19th and 20th 2022
Nationals is an Invitational tournament.
If and when you qualify you will receive an invitation via email.
If there are spots still open on September 28th, it will be opened to all members regardless of qualifying.
Remember you must Register and Pay to hold your spot after you receive your invitation!
2023 Referral Bonus
If an existing member refers and gets a player
(new or returning that wasn't a member last year)
