Champ & A will play the Blue Tees (Moved up to 6400 yards) B & C flight will play the White Tees Pro Shop number (704) 542-8150 for exact directions and booking practice rounds. Championship Flight: Craig Sturdivant from the Pinehurst tour competed on the Charlotte Tour Wednesday and came away with the victory. Craig bogied 2 of his first 3 holes but then made 6 birdies coming in on 4, 7, 10, 12, 15, and 18 to post a stellar 2 under par 70 for the victory. Craig needed his birdie put on 18 as Ted Cox also had a birdie put for 71, but it just slid by on the low side. As It turned out Craig made his sealing the victory. Cox finished in second place with and even par 72, while Brad Kroll beat out Dennis Helms on the card for third place. Both Kroll and Helms fired one over par 73â€™s. A Flight: Gary Schatz won for the second time this season shooting a one over par 73. Right after the round Gary asked to be moved up to Champ Flight before I had to even ask. Good luck Gary! Terry Lewis coming back from leg surgery seems to be getting his game back in shape as he finished in second on Wednesday with 76. Marty James was the only other player to break 80 in the flight and his 79 grabbed him third spot. Larry Culler got 4 place with and 80 beating out Steve Romito and Bob Boettner on the card playoff. B Flight: Tom Holmes played his best round ever and won for the first time on tour with 76. John Love carded an 80 for second place and Sam Carpenter, last weekâ€™s winner, continues to play well and fired 82 for third place. Howard Rohrer and Bill Holland both shot 83â€™s but it was Rohrer winning 4th place on the card. C Flight: Bill LoVine won for the first time all year and played his best round with an 83. Two shots behind Bill was John Crofts at 85. John finished second while Tim Story and Mac Geddie got third and fourth on the card playoff with 89. Tony Schiffer also carded 89 but ended up fifth.
