Tournament Results
Champ Flight - Having a rough Day 1 would tell us that our champions Day 2 score would be something to watch for. On Day 2 we would see the lowest round for the tour so far at -1 for the day. Danny Broughton would take the championship with a +4 (148 Total) making it his first victory on tour.
A Flight - Being the next flight to follow and having some familiar faces, we knew there would be a battle on both days. After Day 1 we would have only one stroke separating the group. On Day 2 it would be a battle all day with the leader changing multiple times. After 36 holes were played we would need one more hole as a sudden death playoff hole to determine the champion. Chris Davis would take the championship with a +20 (164 Total) making it his third victory on tour.
B Flight - Just like every event we have, this flight always has a battle to the end. After Day 1, we had three players in the mix with one strokes separating them. On Day 2 though, we would see the second lowest round of the event, sealing the victory for our champion. Robert Corazzi would take the championship with a +9 (153 Total) making it his first victory on tour.
C Flight - Being the biggest flight in the tournament, any of the players could come out with the victory. After Day 1, we had two players in the mix with three strokes separating them. But on Day 2 our leader would take care of business and cruise to a victory even though we would see one low score try to make the comeback victory. Greg Bennett would take the championship with a +17 (161 Total) making it his second victory on tour. Vern Bendy would take second with a +24 (168 Total).
D Flight - Finishing up with our final flight, everyone had their eyes on this flight. After Day 1, we would have a tie which would prepare us for an exciting Day 2. Once all the dust settled we would see a new champion for this year in this flight for the first time. AJ Salaiz would take the championship with a +36 (180 Total) making it his first victory on tour, and taking down the 4 in a row previous champion.
