The Charleston Senior tour wrapped up their second season with a great day at Legend oaks Plantation.  The weather and the course were perfect.

The Champ Flight saw Mike Cobb put on an awesome display of golf with 3 birdies and an eagle for a very nice round of 73 to take home the victory, the Championship season points and The player of the year honors.  Eric Maland who was neck and neck with Mike for P.O.Y. honors finished with a very nice round of 76’

The A flight was won by Augusta’s Kevin Hadlock who fired a 79 to hold off Christian Chapman by two shots for the “out of town” victory. James Griffith finished one shot back of Christian with an 82

The B flight saw Wes Flemming use his local knowledge to take home the hard fought victory with a two-shot victory over David Cooler and Nicolas Anderson who both posted rounds of 89.

The C flight was won by steady Julie Johnson who posted a very nice round of 87 to outdistance the field by five shots.  Jeff Priest finished one shot in front Michael Ridgeway (92-93) to take home second place.

The D flight was won by our dominant Hank Brinegar who finished the year with 4 victories and five runner ups.  Hank also was in the running for P.O.Y.  Coming in second was the legend Mike Miller just a few shots back.

It was a great sophomore year for us and we hope to grow by leaps and bounds next year.
