Mt Pleasant Rumble was a battle!
Mt. Pleasant Rumble turns into a free for all!
The Charleston Seniors headed up HWY 17 to Charleston National last Sat, Feb 28th and what a great time for all! The weather tried to warm up but the wet ground and breeze kept us on our toes all day!
In the Champ flight, it seemed like it was a battle all day till the last few holes. It appeared any of the top four could have won it. It was Rand Mendez and his one under par on the last six holes that separated him from the field for the victory! Phil Pfieffer finished in second two shots back
The A flight had so much fun, Jace Gause and Bo Gordon decided to go extra hole to find a victor! The playoff was back and forth and went four hole before Jace pulled it out for his first victory of the year!
The B flight seemed to change hands all day till Ken McMillian calmed everyone down with a back nine score of 37 for the three shot victory over Jack Sharp.
The C flight also was enjoying the day and like the A flight decided extra holes were in order as Alex Gardner and Julie Johnson finished in a tie with very nice rounds of 85. In the playoff, Julie controlled her nerves and took home the victory.
The D flight was up for grabs all day till the last six hole when Hank Brinegar steadied the ship with a one over to take home the gold. Cowboy finished second and carded two birdies in his runner up finish.
