South Carolina in Pictures: 25 Beautiful Places to ...

Charleston Heads up I95 to Santee Cooper Country Club!

The Charleston Tour headed north to one of our favorite tracks and it did not disappoint, the course was in great shape and there was some spectacular golf played!

In the Champ Flight, Chuck Tryder and Mitch Marchamon both got off to good start with 36 and 37 respectively on the front nine.  This time around it was Chuck that kept it going with a smooth 1 under par 35 on the back nie for a 1 under 71 to take home the honors!

The A flight saw the round of the day as Bo Crooks traveled down from Central Carolina to post his best round in 15 years. Bo fired a three under par 69 that included a 3 under par back nine! Way to go Bo, one of the best rounds of the year!  Eric Tobias who was given chase most of the day stumbled a tad on the last few holes while Clay Faulkner continued his steady play.  Both finished with 2 over par 74’s with Clay taking home 2nd place points via the scorecard playoff.

The B flight had quite the battle as Nicholas Anderson and Cliff Marcum battled it all day.  The two came to the 18th hole all square.  Nicholas delivered the knock out blow with a birdie on the tough finishing hole for the win.  Rounding out the top three was Chad Eldredge with an 85

The C flight was the Loyd Russel show.  Loyd fired a 43 on the front then turned it up on the back with a sizzling 37 to over take the front nine leader, Jim Manning.

The D flight saw Robbie Jones secure his first victory of the season with a smooth 98 for a 6 shot victory over Michael Miller.
