The Charleston and Augusta Tours teamed up for a one day event at Orangeburg Country Club.  The weather was great, the course even better and the golf was fun all Day!

In the Champ Flight Augusta’s Steve Kubik jumped out to an early lead of 2 under to give himself a little cushion that was needed!  Bruce Grant did his best to try to track him down but Steve played a great solid round which included an even par back nine to hold off Bruce for the 2 shot victory, 71 to 73

The A flight had a crowded leaderboard all day as the finished with 8 guys shooting 78 or better and it would have been a few more as the chasers were trying to make something happen to catch them.  Andy Motroni fired a 3 over par for a two shot victory with steady and impressive nines of 36, 38.  Ed Leightner and Kevin Hadlock both finished two shots back with nice rounds of 77 with Kevin taking the scorecard playoff.

The B flight was a tight race to the finish with four guys shooting between 80-82 with Chris McCorkie holding off the field for the one-shot victory over James Cartledge who slid into second on the last hole with a very nice par.  Wes Flemming was right there but had a little difficulty on the last hole but held on tho third place.

The C Flight had some very nice rounds posted as Dionisio Camacho fired an impressive round of 83 for a 2-shot victory over Kevin Herron and Gene Williams with Kevin taking home second place $$ by virtue of a score card playoff.

The D Flight saw Kip Philips play just to strong as he carded a five shot victory over Bob Hill with an impressive round of 85 to Bob’s 90.  Rounding out the top three was Russel Loyd who finished one shot in back of Bob.
