It was only June 4, but there was no mistaking that summer is here.  With temperatures in the low 90's, the Golfweek Amateur Tour players took on the Duran Golf Club in Viera.  Excellent course conditions produced many good scores throughout the flights.  And we raised another $245 for our Eric Baker Memorial Fund that supports Stand Up 2 Cancer and junior golf.  Over $2000 after seven tournaments.  Thank you!

Jeff Moritz scored the victory after a 4-under par 68 in Championship flight.  Chad Frank was second with 70.   Scott Davis shot 1-over par 73 to take third.  Bill Rambo and Donald Dunivant had a playoff for the senior A flight.  Bill prevailed on the first extra hole to grab the victory.
