15 ORLANDO SENIORS MADE THE TRIP TO PINEHURST

PARKER, HAMBY & BENEDETTI ALL FINISH IN TOP TEN

Over 200 players were greeted by unseasonably warm weather in Pinehurst for the Senior Tour Championship. Orlando took 15 members and 5 were able to come home with a top ten finish. Dennis Brady and Tim Sobitz led the way with 2nd place finsihes in the Championship and B flights, respectively. Also in the B flight, Chet Parker finished in sixth place and Ben Hamby was seventh. Since there is no senior tour in Tampa, Len Benedetti.played under the Orlando team banner and took third place in the C flight. Orlando finished thrid in the seven team competition.
