The North Central Florida Senior Amateur Golf Tour is kicking-off Sat. Jan. 26 at the always “great shape” Candler Hills Golf Club in Ocala, FL.

Membership for the 2013 competition season is now open.

Many of the guys I speak to, almost instantly say “I’d like to play on the Tour, but I’m not good enough.”

Because of the four flights, one of the great things about our Tour is: you don’t need a low handicap to play…all you need is a desire to compete and win an golf tournament.

You play with guys of similar skill level, any one of whom (including you) can win the tournament.

Plus, if you play, the competition will make your golf game will get better.

Eleven tournaments are scheduled including a giant two-day event in cooperation with the Orlando Tour June 22-23 at Disney’s Osprey Ridge and Magnolia courses.

In addition to Candler Hills, Glen Lakes is another new private  course that has been added.

On Sept. 28 the final regular season tournament will be at El Campeon at Mission Inn Resort.  This will include an awards luncheon at the conclusion of play.

All of this leads up to the National Championship in Pinehurst in Nov. where the top players in each flight compete against the best of the Seniors from across the country.
