STUETZLE, ROUNDTREE, DAYTON GET REPEAT WINS; CASALE GETS FIRST
DUNNELLON, FL—Steve Stuetzle, Bob Roundtree, and Jesse Dayton all got another win on the North Central Florida Senior Golf Tour, and Larry Casale got his first, in the tournament Saturday (Sept. 14) held at Juliette Falls Golf Club.
Playing in the Championship Flight, Stuetzle rolled in a birdie on the par 3 seventh hole on his way to shooting a 77.
Roundtree played steady golf on the front with a par 36; on the back he closed it out with a 40, for a 76 total and first place in the A Flight.
Dayton, who represented the B Flight, rolled in three birdies on holes 5, 12 and 16, to win with a 76. Mack Gadd took second with and 80.
A score card playoff in the C Flight gave Larry Casale his first win with an 84. He had a birdie on number 11. Steve Whitlock came in second. He birdied the first hole.
Champ and A Flight birdies paid $23. The B and C Flight birdies paid $26.
The next tournament is the final of the season at Mission Inn Golf Resort on Sept. 28. After completion of play, there will be an awards and recognition luncheon. Deadline to register and pay is Sept. 21.
