TWO SUDDEN-DEATH PLAYOFFS GIVE VOJTISEK, MOLSICK FIRST WINS; ROUNDTREE ALSO GETS FIRST WIN
BROOKSVILLE, FL—It was the “hat trick” day for first wins and two more sudden-death playoffs at the North Central Florida Senior Amateur Golf Tour tournament at Pine Barrens at World Woods Saturday (Apr. 13).
The three first wins were by Miroslav Vojtisek, Bob Molsick and Bob Roundtree. The B and C Flights were settled on the course after regular play concluded.
Miroslav Vojtisek got his first Tour win over Chet Parker in two holes. Both finished regulation play with 82s in the B Flight.
In the C Flight, Bob Molsick (who had three birdies) tied new member Mike Lang (who eagled number 12), both finishing the first 18 with 84s. Molsic then went on to get his first win on Tour on the first playoff hole.
Bob Roundtree, rounding out the third first win, took his in the A Flight by shooting an 81. He birdied number 9.
Second place in the A Flight was Robbie Robinson with an 83 and third was Glen Pelt with an 86.
