"Can't Complete the Low Round? "Improve Your Golf Mental Toughness" "Available Immediately On-Line"
Every golfer has heard the saying "It's all in your head" or "Golf is 90% mental" or "Golf is the most mentally demanding sport in the world." Yet what do golfers do about it? Well, most often absolutley nothing! Not necessarily because they don't want to, but sometimes golfers actually think the mental game doesn't matter to them! Click Here to Unlock Your Mind and Shoot Better Golf EVERY golfer can benefit from increasing their mental toughness and harnessing the full power of thier mind! Many golfers naively get stuck into thinking that the mental game only matters for elite players or pros who make a living golfing. Nonsense! EVERY golfer needs to use their mind properly. It is your mind that determines how well you learn when taking lessons. (and this training course is packed with accelerated learning techniques that will have you absorbing more from lessons) It is your mind that will allow you to set up to the ball correctly and commit to your swing (or not!). It is your mind that will either stay focused under pressure and get you to make a smooth, fluid stroke when you need to drain an 8 footer for the win, or have you choking like a dog and collapsing like a house of cards when the heat is on!
Click Here to Unlock Your Mind and Shoot Better Golf "When you have a chance to shoot the lowest score of your life, you won't choke - You Will Go Low!" "Available Immediately On-Line"

=============================================================== THE SENIOR AMATEUR GOLF TOUR SEVEN LAKES COUNTRY CLUB TOURNAMENT REVIEW TOP FIVE SCORES BY FLIGHT =============================================================== |
PRESTON JONES GETS LONG-AWAITED SENIOR TOUR WIN Seven Lakes, NC August 13, 2015 Preston Jones had waited over two years to claim a win on the Senior Amateur Golf Tour. The Salisbury resident remedied that situation on Thursday at Seven Lakes Country Club, but it didn't come easily. In the first place he had to beat 25 other A Flight members who were competing in the event, and secondly Walkertown's Ron Tapscott shot an identical 77 over the original regulation 18 holes to force a sudden death playoff. Tapscott had hit the ball well all day, but commented that his putting had been poor during regulation play. It was that very same putter that let him down on the first extra hole, missing a putt that would have sent the playoff to a second hole. "Preston has been competitive throughout his Tour career", stated Assistant Tour Director Tom Kubla. "It's hard to believe he hasn't had at least one win over the last two years". Pinehurst's Steve Lassiter was a runaway winner in the Championship Flight with an even-par 72, featuring a 3-under 33 on the back-nine. He enjoyed a comfortable 5 stroke cushion over runner-up Ron Hockensmith of Whispering Pines. Lassiter, who played a couple of events as a non-member last year, has had great success this year as a regular member. It has seemed to happen with some regularity lately that someone posts a number that is well below their season average and comes as a surprise to everyone, including themselves. Such was the case in the B Flight competition as Asheboro's Joe Prairie stunned the flight with a 73 that left him 8 shots better than his two closest pursuers, Sophia's Dennis Bryant and Ron Gburek of Lewisville. "I can't remember the last time I shot a number like that anywhere", said Prairie. The C Flight finished more "to-form", with only 3 golfers breaking 90, led by Mebane's Lee Smith who shot 86. Whitsett's Bob Brown and Dan Harness of Wake Forest were 3 back with 89s. Next up for the Senior golfers is Oak Valley Country Club in Clemmons. There are openings for that event on August 20. =============================================================== Rules Review It has been suggested that there should be a series of Rules scenarios for you to solve. So begins a series of problems titled What's the Score? Doc Miller has graciously agreed to allow me to share these with you that he has been sending since July 2009. I will include one each week. You should try to determine the answer based upon your knowledge of the Rules when ever possible and then use your Rule book to confirm. There will be no trick questions or hidden information.

Questions from #317
Consider the following as True or False. Two players are sharing a motorized golf cart. The player driving is making a bee-line to his ball and...
A. If the two players are opponents in a match, there is a penalty if the player driving runs over and moves his own ball?
B. If the two players are opponents in a match, there is a penalty if the player driving runs over and moves the ball of his opponent?
C. If the two players are fellow competitors in a stroke play event, there is a penalty if the player driving runs over and moves his own ball?
D. If the two players are fellow competitors in a stroke play event, there is a penalty if the player driving runs over and moves the ball of his fellow competitor?
------------------------------------------------------
Answers
A, B & C are True. D is False.
In A and C, regardless of the form of play, the player moved his ball in play, R18-2a (ii). See definition of Equipment, Note 2.
In B, it is a breach of R18-3b. as he was not “searching” for his opponent’s ball.
In D, there is no penalty in stroke play for moving the ball of a fellow competitor, R18-4. The ball must be replaced.

=============================================================== TTour Weather Guidelines Primarily, we adhere to the same guidelines that the PGA Tour uses: If Primarily, the course is open, we're going to play. The only exception to this is that I'll never put any of you in harm's way during an event because of dangerous weather. (i.e. - lightening or severe cold and wetness). In other words, I won't let the course "bully" us into playing where an unsafe condition might exist. Because I arrive at every event at least two hours prior to the start time and I generally have to leave my house at least an hour before that to get to the course, there is no sense calling me just before the event, because I won't be at the office. The best avenue to take is to call the course if the weather seems threatening. If you are on the roster for the event, and you do not get a cancellation notice from the course after calling them, you are expected to show up in time for the scheduled shotgun start.
